IDENTITY

Give When You Go was planted into my heart + mind in 2021 when I was headed to Ireland for a work trip. I wanted to find a local nonprofit to donate to in the areas I was visiting. I think tourism dollars are powerful for communities and stimulating economies / producing jobs, etc - but there are so many people groups that never see a cent from this money and are suffering. I searched for days for legit organizations to work with and came up empty handed. I started to think - I can't be the only one trying to locate and work with nonprofits all over the world… Then I felt the Lord place that desire on my heart to create some sort of database non profit in support of real non profits doing amazing work all over the world. To put them all in one place for travelers or passionate givers to make it easier to give back! It hasn't been an easy process figuring out how to start something like this with so many moving parts, but it's one I believe the Lord is working with me on. Our focus is people.

MISSION: To inspire, connect, and provide. Our goal is to inspire travelers to give back to the communities they get to experience. We connect these travelers to non profits all over the world. We provide these organizations with our finances, time, resources, and prayer.

GOALS: to make people feel connected to the stories of others, from different backgrounds and stories. To make my clients, and all clients, connected to people on the other side of the earth enough to make a change. That knowledge of them changes the way they think about travel…

VISION: Making it easier for people to give back! The Lord put this on my heart and I feel like it’s my job and passion to help people. Whether it ends up being 5 people or 5 million, who knows. I love to travel more than most things. I love PEOPLE even more. I wanted to create a way to take the thinking out of how to give back to the people of the places I visit. A database of incredible organizations that you can give with finances, time, resources, or prayer. Bringing to light their missions!
